We are delighted to welcome you to Pelican Retreat. To ensure the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of all guests, we kindly ask that you read and adhere to the following Terms and Conditions. By completing a booking, you agree to these terms.

1. General Information

• Check-in: From 3:00 PM

• Check-out: By 10:00 AM

• Maximum number of guests: 8

• Events and parties are strictly not permitted.

• Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are not allowed anywhere on the premises.

• Quiet hours are observed between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM.

2. Payments and Fees

• A cleaning fee of $150 is applied per booking or per week for stays longer than two weeks.

• A $100 fee will be charged for any lost keys.

• All fees are due as part of your booking and are non-refundable.

3. Keys and Security

• Keys are to be collected from and returned to the lockbox provided.

• When you are not inside Pelican Retreat, the house must be securely locked.

4. Guest Responsibilities on Departure

Before checking out, guests must:

• Place all used towels in one location (e.g., bathroom or laundry).

• Dispose of all rubbish in the appropriate bins.

• Turn off all lights, fans, and air conditioners.

• Ensure all windows and doors are securely closed and locked.

5. Pets

We warmly welcome well-behaved dogs, but kindly request the following:

• Dogs must not go upstairs or sleep on or in the beds, especially if they shed heavily.

• Please pick up after your dog at all times.

• Bring your own dog bed or blanket to help minimize hair and mess.

• Please take all reasonable precautions to limit pet hair inside the house.

6. Boat Ramp Rules

• A key is provided to unlock the chain to the private boat ramp.

• If this key is lost, a replacement fee will apply.

• After launching or retrieving your boat or jetski, please:

  • Re-attach the chain and

  • Secure the padlock to maintain exclusive guest access.

• You may leave your car and trailer on the slipway block for up to 10 hours, as long as it:

  • Does not obstruct others accessing the area.

  • Is not parked on the marina road or lawn areas.

• When leaving your vehicle and trailer, clearly display a note on the dashboard including:

  • Your name

  • The property name: Pelican Retreat

  • The approximate time you left the vehicle.

7. Liability and Damages

• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, furniture, or contents.

• Please report any damages or incidents promptly.

• Excess cleaning or unreported damage may result in additional charges.

8. Compliance

We reserve the right to terminate your stay without refund for:

• Breach of these Terms and Conditions

• Disruptive behavior

• Exceeding the maximum occupancy

• Hosting unapproved guests or events
